Kate Hudson’s Gray Maxi Dress and Plaid Shirt Combo Is Perfect for Fall in L.A.

Now this is how you dress for fall in Los Angeles.

Kate Hudson was spotted out and about in the City of Flowers and Sunshine earlier today looking ready to take on the cooler weather, and we want to copy her whole look ASAP. For the occasion, the mother of two rocked a sleeveless gray maxi dress that she topped off with a seasonally appropriate red plaid shirt that was tied around her waist. She added brown suede booties, round tortoiseshell sunnies, and an oversize leather satchel to accessorize her look. The 37-year-old Deepwater Horizon star pulled her blonde locks into a messy topknot and added a dark polish to her nails.

But it looks like that wasn’t her only stylish ensemble of the day. The actress took to Instagram several hours later to share an adorable video of her with her two recently trained dogs, and she looked super cute in a graphic tank top and black leggings.

“Proof that this man knows what he’s doing! @animalbrandon trained my little guys and is responsible for making me realize that we should always choose rescue dogs! Always!” Hudson wrote in the caption. “His new book is out and it’s a must for dog owners who need a manual….like myself. Plus he’s hot, so it’s not a bad book to have laying around the house.”
